Welcome to a charming house on a lovely lake plot with a fantastic view of sunny Blidö. To this archipelago idyll you come by two car ferries from Furusund, first to Yxlan where you drive ashore straight across the island in a few minutes, to the next ferry that leads you directly to Blidö which is Roslagen's most popular destination. In this creative house, you first enter a spacious hall and then directly into the pleasant living room. In the hall there is a nice old piano that you are happy to play on. On either side of the hall / entrance there are two glazed conservatories / greenhouses where you can happily have your morning coffee and look out over the flowering garden. The living room is divided into different sections, which gives an airy and convivial character. Straight ahead you have a dining room furniture and to the right is the open kitchen also the one with a dining table. To the left in the living room there is a sofa group with a wood burning stove. The living room also contains a beautiful bay window with seating where you can enjoy the beautiful sea views. Ì connecting to the living room is the master bedroom with a double bed. On this level there is also the bathroom which contains shower and toilet. In the bathtub, you can only shower when there is a shortage of water, so you must consistently economize with the water. From this floor you come out onto the terrace and the wonderful sea view. Here you can grill and eat good dinners and enjoy the summer and the sea. Upstairs there is a living room with a lovely sofa group and TV. There are two bedrooms, with two single beds in each room, one of which is 120 cm. It is also possible to sleep on the sofa in the living room if you wish. Best of all is the fantastic bathing jetty with associated cliffs that you can sunbathe on and swim to. Here you can spend the whole day and you are welcome to borrow the rowing boat if you want to row or fish a little. The owner who lives on the plot (to the right of the entrance) is happy to assist with information about Blidö, fishing, etc. They can also offer watercolor painting and yoga classes for compensation. In the second house on the plot there lives a woman with a child and dog. You can feel private but will share a jetty / bathing area with the owners. Blidö is a very popular destination, one of the few places you can get so smoothly and far out in the archipelago by car, bus and ferry. The car ferry runs at least twice an hour from Furusund. Blidö has everything from a shop, bakery, church, medical center and farmhouses. Here you can play paddle, mini golf and go to flea markets. Just outside Blidö is Norröra, where Saltkråkan was recorded, one of Astrid Lindgren's famous works, If you want to enjoy a good bite to eat, you can do it at Blidö Brygga and Bistro which some evenings also have entertainment, or why not take the ferry over to Furusund's inn. For those of you who want more pulse and speed, central Stockholm has a lot to offer for large and small interests such as the castle, Skansen or Gröna Lund! Feel free to go with Vaxholmsbolaget's tour boats that run shuttle services to and from Stockholm and to other islands in the Archipelago. Let the holidays begin!
